These terms cover your use of argain, the software at argain.app that helps a business follow up on overdue invoices owed by its business customers. By creating an account or using argain for your business, you agree to them on behalf of that business.

1. Who these terms are for

"argain", "we" and "us" mean the company that provides argain. "You" means the business that uses argain, and "your users" means the people you invite to your workspace. You must be able to agree to these terms for your business.

If you and argain have signed an order form or pilot agreement, it applies alongside these terms, and it wins if the two conflict.

2. What argain does

argain reads the accounting system and company mailbox you connect, works out what is overdue, suggests the next step for each case, and drafts follow-up emails. Where sending is turned on for your workspace, approved emails go out from your own mailbox, in your name; where it is off, argain only drafts them.

argain is under active development. Features may change, and some features described on our website are plans rather than things you can use today.

3. Business debts only

argain is for invoices one business owes another. Don't use it to collect debts from individuals for personal, family or household purchases.

4. Your account and your users

  • Keep your account details accurate and your sign-in secure.
  • You decide who joins your workspace and what each person can do. You are responsible for what your users do in argain.
  • Tell us promptly at nitai@argain.app if you think someone has accessed your workspace without permission.

5. Connecting your systems

When you connect an accounting system, a mailbox or another service, you confirm that you are allowed to give argain that access. The provider's own terms (for example Google, Microsoft or your accounting provider) still apply to your account with them. You can disconnect a system at any time from your workspace settings, and you can also remove argain's access from the provider's side.

6. You are responsible for your collection activity

  • You decide whom to contact, what to send and when. Review each message before you approve it.
  • You are responsible for following the laws that apply to how you collect your debts and contact your customers, including debt collection, privacy, consent and email marketing rules.
  • argain does not give legal advice and is not a collection agency. It does not collect money on your behalf, and your customers pay you directly.

7. AI features

argain uses AI models to read replies, suggest next steps and draft messages. AI output can be wrong or incomplete, so check it before you rely on it or send it. Balances, due dates and amounts come from your connected systems and fixed calculations, not from the AI model.

8. Your data

Your data stays yours. You let argain process it only to provide argain to you, keep it secure and meet legal obligations, as our privacy policy describes. We don't sell your data, and we don't use it to train AI models.

9. Acceptable use

Don't use argain to:

  • send messages that are false, misleading, threatening or harassing;
  • pretend to be someone you are not;
  • break the law or anyone else's rights;
  • upload malware, or try to get around argain's security or usage limits;
  • access another company's workspace, or copy or resell argain.

10. Fees

Fees, if any, are set out in your order form or pilot agreement.

11. Confidentiality

Each of us will keep the other's non-public business information confidential and use it only for the purpose of our relationship, except where the law requires disclosure.

12. No guaranteed results

argain helps your team work overdue invoices. We can't promise that any invoice will be paid, or that argain will be uninterrupted or free of errors.

13. Ending your use

You can stop using argain at any time. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms, if your use puts other customers or argain at risk, or if the law requires it. We'll tell you why unless the law or a security issue prevents it. After your use ends, you can ask us to delete your data. We do that by hand, within 30 days of your request, as our privacy policy describes.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change matters to you, we'll tell you by email or in your workspace before it takes effect.
